9ice is the only man that has broken my heart – Toni Payne reveals

Toni Payne, estranged wife of popular singer, 9ice has revealed that he is the only man that has ever had her heart broken.

In a series of tweets, Payne opened up that she and 9ice are not destined to be together even though they have a child together.

“I’ve only had my heart broken only once… nothing to tell really because I got a wonderful and amazing son out of it and I’d get my heart broken a million times just for him. My disappointment was a blessing in disguise,”

“Well, no one ever prays to be heartbroken but I believe everything worked out for the best. We were not designed for each other and it took maturing and growth to figure that out. No one that is for you will ever put you through what I went through.

“I’m a lover and an avid communicator. I don’t break hearts, they break themselves.”

“There would be less heartbreak if people are just honest with themselves and each other. That thing you are trying to avoid by lying is what usually hurts most. Deception is a hard pill to swallow, especially if you didn’t expect it. Honesty through it all softens the blow,” she tweeted.

In 2010, 9ice and Payne officially parted ways after being married for a year. The relationship produced a son, named, Zion.

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has apologized following their disappointing 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone in Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game.

The Super Eagles hit the ground running in the encounter and dominated the first half, scoring four goals before taking their legs off the pedal.

Sierra Leone subsequently came from behind against the three-time African champions and share the spoils at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Musa made his 94th appearance for the Super Eagles in the match and featured for 65 minutes before he was replaced by Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho.

“Dear Nigerians, on behalf of myself and my teammates we are really sorry for the disappointment of the game tonight,” Musa told NFF media.

“We know we made a very big mistake in the game but there is nothing we can do, that’s football. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.

“We will correct our mistakes in the next game. By God’s grace we will go there [Sierra Leone] and do our best to see we qualify for the Afcon and we know we can do it.

“We are sorry for the game tonight and we will make it up, thank you very much.”

Nigeria maintain their lead in Group L with seven points from three games after securing victories over the Republic of Benin and Lesotho.

Mourinho reveals

Tottenham Hotspur have been fined and manager Jose Mourinho has been given a suspended one-match ban from European fixtures by UEFA.

The punishment has been dished out, because Spurs were late to kick-off in their clash with Royal Antwerp on 29 October and it was deemed that Mourinho was responsible for the delay.

The club has been fined 25,000 euros (£23,000) by UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary body (CEDB), and another 3,000 euros (£2,700) for breaching UEFA’s equipment regulations.

Mourinho’s ban has been deferred for a year, meaning he will not actually face the punishment unless he breaks the rules again in that time.

Spurs lost the match 1-0 in Belgium, but they have since gone on to win their next three matches.

The Portuguese made nine changes to his team for the Antwerp meeting and made it clear after the game that he would try not to rely on his squad players again.
