Although it wasn’t one of her best years, she was thankful that she is alive and survived her 29th birthday.

2020 has dealt the former Big Brother Africa housemate terrible blows as she lost her father after he suffered severe burns at his farm in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was also alleged that her mother, now retired, was the officer that killed a UNIBEN student Ibrahim Momodu in 2013, during her years in service.

Amid the scandal, the Nollywood actress deactivated her Instagram account due to the incessant dragging but has returned with a bang.

Lilian Afegbai shared the birthday photos and wrote,

11:11

A very special day..
Happy birthday to me, I just want to say thank you God for keeping me.
I survived my 29th birthday, that’s enough to be grateful.
This year isn’t one of my best, considering I lost my dad, but I have an angel now watching over me.
Kindly say a prayer for me, that’s all I ask.

Big Brother Naija ex housemate, Vivian popularly referred to as Vee has discloses that she is one of the few Nigerians that will never support any skin bleaching product or slimming product.

According to Vee who took to twitter to make this known, she will never agree to be a brand ambassador to any skin bleaching product or slimming product. This she said is because many young ladies are looking up to her and she would not like to mislead them.

“Call me stubborn, but you can’t convince me to do something I don’t believe in or something that doesn’t represent my brand because “that’s how things are done in this country” I have too many young girls following me to be the face of any skin bleaching products… I’m a size 10, so why would I be representing slimming products? I refuse to be a cliche. And if it takes me a little longer to get to where I wanna be, then so help me God. For the last time; Longevity > bragging rights.” She tweeted.

Nigeria’s Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday said one of Nigeria’s main priorities now was getting the Covid-19 vaccine.

Yemi Osinbajo revealed that this was a matter of utmost concern to the present regime.

According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, the Vice President spoke at the opening  of the virtual edition of the Paris Peace Forum which featured presentations by some Heads of State and government alongside international organisations, on a collective response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The statement was titled “Getting COVID-19 vaccine a matter of utmost concern, says Osinbajo. Akande quoted the Vice President as saying that “The priorities of Nigeria in the post COVID-19 era include improved healthcare and the economy. “First, we need to keep the virus under control. While our guards are still firmly in place, getting the COVID-19 vaccine is a matter of utmost concern.

“On this, we are encouraged  by the efforts of WHO and other international agencies working to ensure that vaccine delivery will be equitable across all countries, regardless of the priority of orders and ability to pay.”
