On Wednesday 22nd October, 2020, we reported that, Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin, had taken to her Instagram to accuse the workers of MTNGhana of stealing an amount of GH¢10,000 from her mobile money account.
About an hour after her accusation post, she again shared that, MTN had reached out to her and the issue has been resolved. She since deleted both posts from her page.
However, just yesterday, Friday, October 24th, the giant telecom network also took to social media to reveal that, the accusation by the actress was false, saying that, the said amount was not even in her account, and demanded a proper apology from her within 24hours of their post, or face legal actions.
This post made rounds on social media, with some people bashing the actress for lying about an amount she didn’t even have in the first place.
Salma, has however taken to social media to send out an apology to MTN, claiming her initial post was as a result of ‘misapprehension’ and a ‘mistake.’
