Adepa wins MTN Hitmaker Season 9 – Walks away with GH¢120,000 recording deal

MTN Hitmaker Season 9 has successfully come to an end in a grand-style with Adepa emerging as the winner. The programme went down on 28th November 2020.
Adepa has been one of the outstanding performers in this season’s contest with some consistent stage performances as well as exceptional stagecraft.
Adepa who was the favourite of many of the fans and ardent followers of the MTN hitmaker season 9 show, at the grand-finale gave her best shot with her magical voice.
Emerging as the winner, Adepa walks away with GH¢120,000.00 recording deal. Other winners and their prizes below;
1st Runner-Up – Kobby Tuesday, the surprise package in this season’s competition takes home Ghc20,000.
2nd Runner-Up – Gabinova GHc15,000 and the 3rd Runner-Up – Achiaa goes home with a cash prize of Ghc10,000.
The show which started with 12 contestants saw each of them battling it out and proving their worth via series of thrilling performances.
After several weeks of thrilling fans with non-stop musical performances, the contestants were left with only four namely; Adepa, Kobby Tuesday, Gabinova and Achiaa who pulled through to the grand finale.
This year’s music reality show under the theme “Unlock your flow” had Kaywa, Eazzy, Okyeame Kuami and Richie Mensah as Judges. The final show was hosted by Rev Erskine and Sika Osei.

Celebrated Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has taken to social media to pen an appreciation message to her husband, Captain Ekeinde.
She sent her heartfelt eulogy to her husband as she shared photos from the closing event of #TEFFEST 2020 held on Saturday, 28 November.
Sharing lovely photos of herself and her hubby, she described him as her ride or die who is always by her side.
She recalled a day she had complained to her husband about her bulging tummy after she took pictures and noticed her tummy was coming out.
Narrating further, she revealed her husband cautioned her against photoshopping the pictures.
According to her, her husband told her she was sexy like that and advised her to be an example of true beauty to others.
She wrote, “This is an Appreciation post! Thank you to The Grand Man always by my side! My Ride or Die Dude! – #TheCaptain
I remember me taking a pic and wondering why my tummy decided to come out to play despite not eating well for weeks and you said … “it’s Sexy! Don’t you dare do photoshop or what’s it you guys do? You should be an Example that No one is less beautiful even when not perfect. ! 😩 I Love it ! I love you! I own me!”
