AFRIMMA 2020: Full list of winners

The organisers of the prestigious African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) has unveiled winners for the 2020 edition. The event took place virtually Sunday 15th November 2020.

AFRIMMA is the only music award scheme that celebrates music of African origin; including but not limited to Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.

Dino Melaye reportedly gifts his daughter a Lamborghini in celebration of her 11th birthday



Controversial Nigerian politician and ex-lawmaker, Dino Melaye has reportedly gifted his 11-year-old daughter, Mary Melaye, a Lamborghini in celebration of her 11th birthday.

The excited daughter shared a photo of herself posing in front of an ash coloured Lamborghini with the caption – Thanks dad.

She also reposted a post from her favourite aunt who asked her if she has started driving her new ride.

“I watched you grow, carried you on my back when you cry. Am so happy for the woman you are turning into. You shall be greater than your dad. And hope you have started driving your ride”, her aunt wrote.

Fans react to Ozo’s comment on Nengi’s recent photo



Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ozoemena Joseph has given fans a serious assignment after he dropped a comment on Nengi’s photo.

The BBNaija second runner up posted a beautiful photo on her Instagram page. Sharing the photo, she wrote – Drive, hunger, determination and passion.

Reacting to the photo, Ozo took to the comment section to write – “MBL”.

His comment sparked reactions from fans who brought out different suggestions as they tried to guess what the acronym stands for.

While some fans feel the acronym stands for “My Best love”, some are certain that it means ‘my Bayelsa love’.
