Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bernd Leno are in line to return while Bukayo Saka will be in contention when Arsenal welcome Wolverhampton Wanderer at Emirates on Sunday evening.

The Gunners will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they play host to Espirito Santo’s men at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

And, Mikel Arteta has a few nagging injury concerns hampering his preparations ahead of the visit of Wolves as Thomas Partey remains doubt for the clash while David Luiz, who picked up a knock earlier this week in the Uefa Europa League tie with Molde also doubt despite return to training with Mikel Arteta’s squad on Saturday evening.

There is some good news too for Arsenal, with midfielder Mohamed Elneny available for selection after recovering from the coronavirus, according to club official website news.

Meanwhile, Sead Kolasinac remains in self-isolation due to his recovery from Covid-9. Apart from the Bosnian, Nicolas Pepe also misses out due his three-match suspension after sent off against Leeds United last week.

The likes of Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers and Gabriel Martinelli are all long-term absentees who have rejoined training and inching closer to their return to action. However, they are unavailable for the visit of Wolves and with David Luiz unlikely to get starting XI, Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes should pair up at the heart of the Gunners defence.

The entire back-line will revert to the first-choice setup, with Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney set to be installed as the full-backs, while Bernd Leno will be the man in goal.

Up ahead in midfield, the fitness of Thomas Partey continues to be monitored, and he is likely to miss out the clash. As a result, Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka will combine in the double pivot, with Joe Willock moving to the advanced midfield slot.

In attack, Willian is fit, while starlet Bukayo Saka will face a late fitness test ahead of the game. Mikel Arteta might not take a risk with Saka and Willian’s fitness, meaning Aubameyang should return in the wide areas, with Reiss Nelson continuing his run in the side after an impressive display at Molde.

Finally, Alexandre Lacazette will lead the line for Arsenal against Wolves and is hope to broke the deadlock when they face the visitor Espirito Santo’s men at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

Predicted Arsenal Starting XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Ceballos, Xhaka; Nelson, Willock, Aubameyang; Lacazette.
