Channels TV, Silverbird TV And NTAi, Now Available To Live Stream On Showmax

Published

on

Nigerians get even more local and international content with three popular local entertainment and news channels now available on streaming service Showmax, 24 hours a day.

African streaming service Showmax is adding even more local content for Nigerian subscribers with a selection of local live channels now available in its streaming catalogue that include Channels TV, NTAi and SilverbirdTV.

The live streams will be available to Showmax and Showmax Pro subscribers, including the mobile plans, and will be available on web and mobile devices, as well as select Samsung and LG Smart TVs. This is in addition to Showmax’s unique combination of African content, first and exclusive international series, the best kids’ shows, and, on Showmax Pro, live sport from SuperSport.

Showmax already streams some of the most talked-about Nigerian series including Enakhe and Riona, new dating show Shoot Your Shot, and Akin Omotoso’s new movie The Ghost and the House of Truth that comes first to Showmax in November.

Showmax is also home to international series that aren’t available anywhere else to binge-watch, with award-winning titles like 2020 Emmy winners Watchmen and Succession, hit HBO series like Game of Thrones and Insecure as well as blockbuster movies like Cold Pursuit, Robin Hood and Hunter Killer. Showmax also has an extensive catalogue of first on Showmax series including Siren, the addictively dark mermaid series, thrilling spy drama Condor and action-packed special-ops series Strike Back.

With a local-first approach, everything about Showmax – the content, apps, pricing, packages and partnerships – is tailored to African audiences. Speaking about the development, Yolisa Phahle, CEO of MultiChoice’s Connected Video, said: “We’re constantly working on new ways to improve the Showmax experience for our subscribers. Whether it’s enabling Verve card payments or daily episodes of Africa Magic favourites like Tinsel, My Flatmates and The Johnsons, our local-first approach keeps our Nigerian subscribers top of mind. These additional live streams are another way that Showmax is changing the game in streaming in Africa.”

The addition of the live channels follows the launch of Showmax Pro, which features all Premier League, Serie A and La Liga matches, as well as other live sport events from SuperSport – something no other streaming service on the continent is offering. Both Showmax and Showmax Pro are available on a mobile plan that is half the price and available to stream on mobile devices.

Subscribe to Showmax for N2900 per month or choose the mobile plan and watch on a single mobile device for N1450. The Showmax Pro subscription is N6300 per month, and the mobile version of Showmax Pro is N3200 per month. Go to www.showmax for more information.

Khafi slams womb watchers who are questioning if she’s pregnant

Published

on

Former big brother Naija housemate, khafi Kareem, has slammed womb watchers on her social media pages.

Khafi slams womb watchers

The former London police has warned them saying she’d start blocking people who question her stomach in pictures.

According to her, it has to stop as women go through a lot already. Read as she wrote on her Instagram page below…

The way I’m looking at the next person who drops a pregnancy comment on my post. Continue reading if you don’t want to get BLOCKED. (I’m not joking).

I’ve ignored them for the longest now but according to the womb watchers on social media I have been pregnant for over a YEAR. So let me get this off my heart. Some people have flat stomachs naturally and some people have big stomachs naturally. The latter is ME. And when I’m on my period it is even BIGGER. I don’t owe anyone a flat stomach but still I try to suck in my belly in every single picture and sometimes I do it better than others. The worst is that even when I’m proud of my ‘sucking in skills’ on a particular picture there is always SOMEONE who still comments something about pregnancy. This is a habit that HAS TO STOP.

First of all, women are more than baby making machines. A woman’s fertility or decision to start a family is for her to decide, not for you to comment on in every single picture… Must our stomachs always be the first thing you look at?? 🧐

Secondly, I’m not just speaking up for myself but for women in general. You may mean well when making pregnancy remarks but it is not always a compliment. For women who have had miscarriages, have been trying unsuccessfully for a baby, or simply conscious about their weight it can be very distressing, triggering and also puts a lot of undue pressure on them. So unless someone has announced a pregnancy or told you then please be nice and DONT COMMENT OR CONGRATULATE them on one.

Trust me when the time is right I welcome pregnancy (twins please Lord!👶🏽👶🏽) and starting a family at God’s time. But until I’ve said I’m expecting please stop with the pregnancy comments. I’ll have no patience for them anymore and any one who writes such comments will get BLOCKED.

To those who mean well, thank you so much, I do love you all💛 But to the amebos please be amebos elsewhere 😁. It’s pressure enough being a woman, so let’s not add to it. Happy Sunday 🤗
