West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has change his agent amid interest from Chelsea.

The Englishman has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in summer but the Blues switch their attention towards strengthen their attacking option.

However, in recent weeks reports claimed, the Blues are positioned themselves in launch the bid for central midfielder in January.

And ahead of January transfer window, Rice has changed management to dad Sean who would surely love to see his son play in west London club.

Frank Lampard on January plans

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has remained coy on his transfer plans ahead of January transfer window.

The Blues are positioned themselves in market for central midfielder in January but boss Lampard remained coy on his side active when window reopens next month.

‘Firstly, I don’t know about January,’ he said.

‘I’ll consider January when it is here. So I’ve got the squad and we’re working hard on the games that are in front of us.’

Hakim Ziyech was forced off during the 3-1 win over Leeds United almost a fortnight ago with a hamstring problem.

The technically gifted Morocco winger, who has made an encouraging start to life in the Premier League following his move from Dutch giants Ajax, was expected to be out action until Boxing Day.

However, Frank Lampard has said there is an outside chance the summer signing could be involved in some capacity against David Moyes’ side.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

Like Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the sidelines with a hamstring complaint, leaving Frank Lampard short on options in the wide areas ahead of the busy Christmas period.

But both players trained with the squad on Friday and could be available to face West Ham United on Monday evening.

‘It’s their first day back with the group today, training at a decent level, so I’ll have to see how they are in the next few days if they are to make West Ham,’ said Frank Lampard.

Reece James

Chelsea are facing an anxious wait over the extent of a knee injury to defender Reece James ahead of the London derby with West Ham on Monday evening.

The 21-year-old Englishman has established himself as the first-choice right-back this season, starting 11 of the Blues’ 13 Premier League games.

However, he could miss the game against West Ham United, with The Athletic reporting that the England international has undergone a scan to determine the extent of a knee injury.
