It is a known fact that sometimes religious rules or beliefs go a long way to affect celebrities in the entertainment industry and as such, they cannot go about doing all that pleases them even if it’s with the right intention.
This is exactly the case of popular Kannywood Rahama Sadau who got sanctioned after she did not obey the Islamic taboos whiles participating in a music video some years ago.

The leading Nigerian actress and singer rose to popularity after her first movie ‘Gani ga Wane’ under the Kannywood film industry way back in 2013. However, the actress was banned from the industry due to an act considered ‘immoral’ by the Muslim community.
In 2016, Rahama featured in a music video with her fellow Hausa artiste Classiq where the two were spotted hugging and cuddling comfortably. This resulted in her suspension by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (Moppan) since an act of men and women holding hands in public is regarded as a taboo.
It was obvious that the punishment of the Kannywoodactress was done to deter others from engaging in such acts.
