#EndSARS: Chris Brown joins movement, posts a video that has sparked reactions

America singer Chris Brown, is the latest international celebrity to lend his voice to the #endSARS and police brutality movement going on in Nigeria.

The singer, just as the many who extended a hand of solidarity to the movement, took to his Instagram page to post a video from one of the biggest protests that rocked the nation, and called for “FREEDOM TO LOVE ❤️ TOGETHER AS ONE.”

Chris Brown, joins the likes of rapper, Kanye West, actress, Viola Davis, singer, Trey Songz, and model, Naomi Campbell, who have all added their voice to the call of a radical reform in the police service in Nigeria, to create a safe environment for the youth today and in the future.

Nasir El-Rufai Imposes 24-hour Curfew On Kaduna

Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has imposed a 24-hour curfew on all parts of Kaduna.

A curfew was earlier imposed only on Kaduna South and Chikun LGAs, but this time around it’s all parts of Kaduna.

According to the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan who released the statement, the curfew was imposed to protect the residents.

The extension of the 24-hour curfew to all the 23 local government areas of the state is effective immediately

KDSG will keep the situation under review and regrets the inconvenience it may cause to law-abiding citizens.

The state government wishes to appeal to all residents of the state to kindly bear with the government as it takes necessary action to maintain law and order, and protect the right of citizens to live in peace.

Nigerians continue to discover warehouses where COVID-19 palliatives donated by CACOVID, have been stored and hidden, instead of distributing to citizens.

The discovery of these relief items have seen the government come under several backlash for refusing to distribute the food items to the less privileged Nigerians.

However, according to popular filmmaker Masurah Isah, the discovery of the COVID-19 palliatives is enough proof that Buhari is not the Nigeria’s problem.

In a post she shared on IG she wrote; “Now that people confirmed Buhari distributed enough palliatives nation wide, it’s clear Buhari is not our problem.”

Reacting to this, Zahara Buhari-Indimi, the daughter of President Buhari, sided with the her, and also shared the post on her Insta story.
