#EndSARS: “Ignore Fake News” Chief Superintendent Dolapo Badmus Reacts To Alleged Demotion

It was earlier reported that Chief Superintendent Dolapo Badmus of the Nigerian Police service had been demoted for her involvement in the operations of SARS.

It appears that the news was first shared on Twitter by an executive of President Muhammadu Buhari’s media team, Ayo Akanji.

According to him, Dolapo Badmus and the former boss of Police Complaint Unit, Yomi Shogunle were demoted and scolded.

Reacting to the claim, however, the former Public Relations Officer of the Lagos Police Service said it was fake news and that Nigerians should rubish it.

She said;

“Ignore Fake News.”

Kidnappers And Rapists In Nasarawa Set To Face Death Sentence Onwards – Governor Sule Cautions

In a recent address to the state, Abdullahi Sule the Governor of Nasarawa state has disclosed that the punishment for all rapists and kidnappers will now be death sentence.

The governor who made this kbown during his speech at the flag-off awareness creation emphasized that the Nasarawa state government will  not condone any form of criminal activities.

He said:

“We will implement the law against rape, kidnapping in Nasarawa. I will like to send this warning that Nasarawa state government will not condone criminality of any kind in the state.”

Sule also made reference to the ongoing EndSARS protests, stating that only   only peaceful protests will be tolerated in the state.

Yesterday, October 21st, President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, finally spoke on the current situation in Nigeria.

In a post on social media, the president spoke on the issue, and said that, he has spoken with President Buhari who he claimed, is “committed to end this end, and has begun the process the will lead to reform.”

Nigerians were however not happy about the fact that, Ghana’s President was telling them what president Buhari is doing when he himself is yet to address his own people since this crisis.

Comedian, TherealFemi, shared the post by Ghana’s president, wondering how Buhari is committed to end this yet has refused to speak, and asked that, if he is rather not committed to ‘killing us all’, then he should call the military off the streets.

Others took to the comments to share their thoughts and also vent their anger.
