Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has identified Chelsea’s Timo Werner as the favourite player to win the Euro 2020 player of the tournament.
Wenger also said that he likes the quality of the Germany international’s movement on the pitch.
Werner endured a mixed first season at Chelsea, scoring 12 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions for the west London club.
“I like the quality of his runs,” Wenger told beIN SPORTS.

“I like his movement, but he’s not… we see his conversion rate with the number of chances he has.
“He’s not good enough to say, but he will be absolutely the favourite to be the player of the tournament [Euro 2020].”
The Euro 2020 will kick off on June 11 – 11 July 2021.
Germany is in Group F alongside France, Hungary and Portugal.
