“Rebuilding A Supermarket Is Hard” – Nigeria’s SPAR Shares Touching Message Following Their Lekkir StoreLooting

One of Nigeria’s most cherished supermarkets, SPAR has taken to their online platform to reveal that their Lekki store has been looted on October 21 amid the ongoing EndSARS protests stating that it would cost them a lot to rebuild the supermarket.

Sharing the heartfelt message, they admitted that rebuilding a nation is even more difficult but they wholeheartedly support Nigeria in its strife for a peaceful resolution to its crises. They also went on to encourage the public to be the solution rather than the problem.

Their message read;

“Our Lekki store has been vandalized and looted. But, we acknowledge that this is only a setback compared to the larger issues we are all facing as a nation, and our thoughts and prayers remain with Nigerians everywhere, and for a peaceful resolution to various issues at hand.

Rebuilding a supermarket is hard. Rebuilding a nation is even harder. We stand with you Nigeria.

Stay focused. Be the solution.

President Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed the concerns of the members of the International Community over their involvement in the #EndSars protest.

President Buhari on October 22, 2020, addressed Nigerians on measures he has taken on behalf of the protesters to bring calmness. In his address, he had a message to the members of the International Community and the neighbouring countries.

He said the aforementioned names should check facts about the happenings in Nigeria before involving themselves in order not to make any hasty judgement.
