Rumors have it that the musician who was part of a group of demonstrators against SARS, on reaching Lekki toll booth momentarily stood on the roof of his car and threw cash on them.

This led to a state of frenzy and confusion amongst the demonstrators with some of them getting minor injuries.

The culprits this time was CNN. The media giants tweeted a report that suggested the Lekki massacre involved clashes from protestors. Genevieve however quickly corrected the false information.

In her quoted tweet, she reminded CNN that the entire situation was an ambush.

We hope CNN and other international media learn to finally do the right thing, once and for all.

Nigerian big name, Wizkid, has demanded the resignation of President Buhari, his Vice President, and the IGP.

This is because of the unfortunate shooting incident at Lekki Toll Gate last night.

Peaceful protestors were confronted by armed personnel of the military who fired direct shots at them. It resulted in the deaths and injuries of a number of these protestors.

An emotionally charged Wizkid has since roared loudly at the country’s leadership. He believes they are a failure and absolutely incompetent, hence the call for their resignation.
