Hello guys, welcome to my page once again, our topic for discussion today is how to dress for job interview as a female, you will agree with me that your outfit is as vital as your degrees when it comes to job interview
A job interview is your opportunity to make a great first impression on your potential employer. Dressing for success is a big part of the interview process. Are you prepared to make that terrific first impression? It’s always a good idea to have some interview clothes ready to wear. That way, you won’t have to scramble at the last minute to find a suitable outfit.
If you’re wondering what to wear to an interview, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you should look professional and polished regardless of the type of job you’re seeking.

Your interview attire depends on the type of job you’re applying for. However, no matter what the position, and even if there’s no dress code, you should always look neat, tidy, and well dressed.
If you’re a woman who needs some inspiration for your interview attire, check out some ideas of what to wear to an interview. For men, take a look at these interview attire options to make the best impression.
It is very vital that you wear the proper dress for a job interview because no matter what your career goals may be, it is crucial to dress to impress. This rule holds true whether you hope to land an entry-level retail job or you hope to move into a corner office and make six-figures. A prospective employer will form a gut-level judgment about you based on your appearance. So, put on your A-game and dress to impress.
If you are a lady, a great idea is a modest length skirt and blouse or a nice pantsuit. The top should not be see-through, fit too tightly, be really short or show excessive cleavage. A nice sweater, or cardigan and blouse are good options for colder weather.
It is certainly suggested to wear pantyhose with a skirt because it smooths the skin tone or adds a bit of colour to match your outfit. If you wear heels, make sure they’re classy and appropriate, but flats are OK too. Wearing towering high-heels really won’t impress employers much – unless the job you’re applying for approves of that.
A dress shirt and clean, ironed pants are a good choice for men in interviews, but a business suit is really ideal. You certainly do not want to wear a t-shirt unless you are attempting to dress business casual and wearing a fancy t-shirt underneath a blazer or a suit jacket.
Regardless of the shirt you select, be sure that there are no visible logos besides the brand name. You should wear an undershirt with light-collared or white shirts and make sure the pants fit well. Use a belt for the pants if necessary. Do not wear sneakers! Pick dark-collared dress shoes instead or at least work shoes or clean boots.
Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, says the death of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 others in an air mishap in Kaduna on Friday is a tragic, unspeakable loss for the nation.
He said Nigerians must collectively finish the job they died by defeating security challenges.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, in a statement, said Attahiru and others dedicated their careers, and now their very lives, in the service of this nation.
He noted that Attahiru had a most distinguished career, and that the Army and the nation will miss his excellent character and fine leadership.
The politician regretted the COAS died at a moment Nigerian is are fighting terrorism or banditry in many parts of the nation.
“Their untimely and sad departure hurts. However, we owe it to them and to the nation to gather our strength and fortitude. We must gird ourselves that we finish the job to which they dedicated and gave their lives.”
He advised Nigerians to remember the brave patriots not with tears but by achieving victory over the terrorism and violence that seek to rob our nation of its finest destiny.
“Let this unfortunate accident not deter us but spur us and our valiant military to continue to defend this land from violence and evil.
“We owe them a debt a gratitude that we can never truly repay except by defeating the violent challenges that now confront us.”
Tinubu added that the tragedy reminds everyone of the great patriotism of the brave men and officers who put their lives at risk in defence of our fatherland.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, calling for understanding between the two sides.
Jonathan noted that what is needed in the immediate term, is a ceasefire between the two divides which will be followed by massive confidence building.
The former Nigerian leader warned that this is not the time for nations to take sides, calling on the international community to aim for peace, which, according to him, “is achievable.”
Over 65 Palestinians and 6 people from Israel have been killed as the deadly exchange of fire between Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli military escalates significantly.
The United Nations said it fears a “full-scale war” as Israel accuses Palestinian militants of having fired more than 1,000 rockets.”
Israel has also carried out hundreds of air strikes on Gaza leading to destruction of three tower blocks and killing of senior Hamas officials.
Over sixteen Palestinian children have been caught up in the conflict.
UN Secretary General António Guterres said he was “gravely concerned” by the ongoing violence.
In a series of tweets on Monday, Jonathan said, “The present conflict in that part of the world can never be resolved by nations and institutions taking sides.
“It can only be resolved by those living within the borders of Israel and Palestine taking time to understand each other until they come to a place where they can coexist, co-prosper and eventually cooperate.
“For that to happen, what is needed, in the immediate term, is a ceasefire, followed by massive confidence building on both sides.
“That is what the international community should aim for. Peace. It is achievable. I sue for peace in both Israel and Palestine, and urge that every international support should be towards deescalating the conflict, rather than escalating it.”
DAILY POST reported earlier that the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) blamed the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan for what Palestine is currently going through in the hands of Israel.
They said that Nigeria under Jonathan played an ignoble role in the Palestinian question.
According to MURIC, while justice-seeking countries like Argentina, Chad, Chile, Jordan, China, France and Russia voted ‘Yes’ to the recognition of Palestine State in 2014, Nigeria dashed the hope of Palestine by abstaining.

Rum and Boggie album creator, Peruzzi has said even back then when he was struggling to hit the limelight with no drip etched to his personality, he wore no fake products.
“I’ve always seen myself as a star before I met anybody in this industry, I used to act like ‘people are watching me.’ I didn’t have no drip, but I’d make sure that I’m not wearing any fake Gucci, I’m not wearing any fake Versace.,” the DMW signee said proudly.
On how he met Davido and his relationship with God, having started off singing in the church, Peruzzi said;
Yeah, Assemblies Of God. Choir, play keyboard, that P. At Assemblies of God, Acappella. If you’re not playing instruments, acapella.
“If you’re playing instruments, it has to be the full thing. Everybody is singing; backing up, harmonizing.
Treble, alto, tenor, bass. Everybody is doing everything. I learnt to harmonize everything, I learnt to make music sweet. So that was where it (melodies) came from. Childhood experience is the foundation of my whole life.
“I haven’t gone to church since I met David. I haven’t been to church in like four years. But yeah, I believe in God.
“I’m wearing plain white shirt. I had my way that I’m going to be something. I didn’t know how, but I knew, ‘guy, I’m going to be something.’ I was already acting like I was. When David met me, I was branding myself already.
“He knew there was a wave. It’s been like that because I always felt like if you know you want to get somewhere, just start preparing yourself for it. [It] wasn’t really fake-fake, ’cause I didn’t rock no fake sh*t. But I faked being a star.”

Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi has made startling revelations concerning the case of Baba Ijesha who was alleged to have sexually assaulted the 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.
He made the statement amidst reports that Baba Ijesha sexually molested the daughter of Princess.
The director who has been very outspoken about the Baba Ijesha and Princess rape saga while taking a lot of heat from the issue, has opened up on the conversation he had with Baba Ijesha during his recent visit to him in Panti prison. In a chat with City People, the actor claimed that Baba Ijesha told him of how he had an affair with Princess Comedian when their spouses left them.
“I noticed he was trying to dodge it. I don’t lie and your secret is safe with me. But I will tell you what he told me. He said Yomi, I had a marital problem the same time she had hers (Princess), and we became closer. She had helped me with admission. And I asked again that, were you guys having sex?
But he replied that Yomi, we became close! But I still think he deserves to be granted bail. No one has the right to hold anyone beyond the statutory law. If you want to hold anyone beyond 48 hours, you have to approach the court with enough evidence as to why the person should not be released.”
Speaking further, Yomi Fabiyi said “I went there and I said Baba (Ijesha), I need to speak with you. And it’s not that we are close; he doesn’t know where I live. He hasn’t appeared in my movies for 18 years since I have been producing movies. But I must not act otherwise because he’s my colleague in the industry. So, I told them at the police station that I needed to see him and they brought him out. He said Yomi and I said, sir! I said I want you to tell me in all honesty, did you rape the young girl? Because I was already having images in my head and I don’t want to believe he’s the one.
And I asked him to tell me; did you rape the girl? And he said, Yomi, there was never a time I raped this lady! And this lady never said I raped her. But the Police said you confessed to the crime and the statement from the police reads Baba Ijesha rape allegation. What is in the video and what did you confess you did then? He said Yomi, they showed me the CCTV and they came in started battering, torturing me.
But I know what I did was not right and I said to him, did you touch the girl; a 14-year-old girl? And he said I don’t even know her age. I know I touched the girl. I kissed her hand. I told him not to say anything again because I felt he might be dodging some things and I requested the video but I was denied.
But I told him if he did what people have been saying, I would be so disappointed in him. And he told me he needed a lawyer and I also asked if anybody has visited him from the industry. He told me only one person came and she came on the instruction of the TAMPAN President to ask for the situation of things. After then I gave him some money. But because I was there (I went to see Baba Ijesha), they thought I went to tell the police another thing or something else happened when I visited him. Is it wrong for a colleague to show moral support to a colleague and wants to know the true account? I will never forsake anybody that I know is good in time of trouble. I asked him and he told me that he’s not a pedophile. This girl looks like an adult to me, Yomi.”
In the video that was released by Princess, she said the girl was raped 7 years ago and that Baba Ijesha didn’t have sex with her then that he only inserted key into her private part. So I said is that what made the girl misbehave in school? It’s not correlating. That was when I began to say maybe somebody is trying to bring someone down.
First, on no account should anybody use a child set up anybody. This is the child you said has been molested and now you were able to convince an innocent child to submit her body for another molestation? If I know you are a sex predator, a Paedophile, I should use the last breathe in me to ensure that you do not touch that child.
Because what happened in the video is like telling that girl to release her body to be molested. That he would put his finger into you, please don’t worry I’m videoing it. He would fondle your Bosoms, endure it. That’s what I saw in the video. That’s too bad. I’m not surprised at all.
A lot of Nigerians are on social media when they should be in the Library. The first mistake of Princess was to involve the girl in the investigation. I’m not saying don’t confront Baba Ijesha. The deed has been done 7 years ago and the most experienced investigator can’t unravel what happened 7 years ago. What happened today can never be connected to 7 years ago. It’s vendetta. You speak the truth you die, you don’t speak the truth you vanish. That’s why I always tell people to control their anger. It’s a premeditated crime.
You brainwashed the girl. The girl could say I don’t want to do this but if she talks too much she could be starved. No child should be made to go through that type of thing in Nigeria.
From the CCTV I watched also, how can the video end when Baba Ijesha was touching the girl? Who controlled the CCTV? So it’s been doctored. Why didn’t CCTV capture when people rushed in?”
Yomi Fabiyi recently alongside others stormed Panti police station to protest over the detention of the embattled actor, who was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl. READ ALSO: “Save Your Money For TikTok Costume” – Yomi Fabiyi Tells Iyabo Ojo
During the protest, Fabiyi, and other protesters marched from Casino Bus Stop to Panti Police Station on Wednesday.
They demanded that Baba Ijesha should be released from detention pending when a court would hear his case.
Fabiyi, who has been supportive of Baba Ijesha, described the continuous detention of Baba Ijesha as “illegal”.

Iniubong Umoren, the job seeker who was raped and murdered by a man who persuaded her with a feigned job interview came out as the best graduating student in the Department of Philosophy, University of Uyo, Uyo.
Netizens have dug out more information on the victim and as seen from the photo displayed below, Iniubong was listed seventh among the top graduating students in the 2020/2020 class with a GPA of 4.12. The results was released by the University of Uyo.
The veracity of the results provided by the reputable institution was asserted by Idorenyin Esikot, associate professor and acting head, Departement of Philosophy, University of Uyo. He told PREMIUM TIMES that Miss Umoren was an outstanding student with exceptional performance.
According to him, she would have likely been employed as a lecturer at the department after her National Youth Service Corpse (NYSC) programme which is mandatory for everyone.
Mr Esikot told PREMIUM TIMES in Uyo on Saturday that she was only a few points away from making first class.
“She was a very committed and focused student, very hard working. In fact, she was very versatile because apart from her academics, she was a footballer, playing for our female team.
“She was very social and dependable; she wasn’t the kind of student that would play around. Whatever she does, she was very committed,”
Mr Esikot said Miss Umoren expressed sadness over her demise saying her end was a personal loss to him. “Anytime I remember it, it’s like a nightmare. Very unfortunate,” he said.
“If she had been alive and wanted to come into the (teaching) profession, she is the kind of student we would encourage to come into the profession. Because that is a student that never failed a course and was always doing well. Those who know my department, before you can come out top the way she did, then you must agree that she was really hard working.
“We have some of our colleagues, who are lecturers (today), who graduated with less GPA than her,” Mr Esikot said.

Lai Mohammed’s assertion that kidnapping is not a federal crime following the recent spike in insecurity, the Peoples Democratic Party has reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has no plans to address the country’s rampant abductions.
In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the Peoples Democratic Party noted that “the statement by the minister is another clear evidence that President Buhari is indeed absent, has completely abdicated the responsibilities of his office and capitulated to bandits.”
According to the PDP, “Lai Mohammed’s statement further reveals that the Buhari Presidency has not been committed to combating banditry but had, all along, been feeding Nigerians with lies, propaganda and falsehood, while bandits are pillaging our nation.
“It is incredulous that the Buhari Presidency, in its failures, is abdicating a responsibility exclusively vested on it by the 1999 Constitution (as amended) to operate all apparatus of national security; the police, military, paramilitary and all other armed services; to secure lives and property in all parts of our country.
“Perhaps, President Buhari and his minister of information need to be tutored that the Second Schedule (Exclusive Legislative List) clearly vested the control of all apparatus of national security on the Federal Government and not the states.
“Items 2, 28, 38, 45, 57 of the Exclusive List are clear in vesting the operation of the police, the military and other armed services; the control of arms and ammunitions as well as criminal records among other statutory paraphernalia of national security on the Federal Government and not the state.
“The APC and the Buhari Presidency need to be tutored that bandits and kidnappers are terrorists and that in line with the provisions of our constitution, the agencies vested with the statutory responsibility of protecting Nigerians from such outlaws are under the control of the Federal Government.
“It is unthinkable that President Buhari, who promised to lead from the front, is now running away from duty while seeking to heap the burden of his office on the states, who do not have control of security agencies.
“Moreover, the fact that a cabinet minister in the shade of Lai Mohammed is left to address this critical aspect of our national security that is vested on the President, shows that our nation is plagued by Presidential absenteeism and a dysfunctional command structure.
“Such situation never occurred under the PDP administration.
“Now that President Buhari and the APC-led Federal Government can no longer guarantee the safety of lives and property, the only way out is for the National Assembly to immediately amend the constitution and establish state police to guarantee the security of Nigerians as already recommended by the PDP.
“The PDP calls on President Buhari to come out of hiding and address the nation, in his own voice, on the worsening insecurity in our country, occasioned by his misrule.”

On Tuesday, May 4, the Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed asserted that it not the duty of the Federal Government to prosecute bandits as it doesn’t form part of the list of federal offences.
He made this known during a press conference held in Abuja.
He was referring to comments attributed to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party about the country’s security problems.
The minister said, “The PDP alleged that kidnappers and bandits are not being brought to justice. This is apparently aimed at the Federal Government.
“It is shocking that a party that ruled this nation for all of 16 years does not know that kidnapping and banditry are not federal offences.
“The PDP should therefore call out the states, including those being controlled by it, to ensure a rigorous prosecution of arrested kidnappers and bandits.
“Meanwhile, PDP conveniently forgot that as far as terrorism, a federal offence, is concerned, this Federal Government has successfully prosecuted thousands of Boko Haram members in Kainji, as part of a continuing exercise. We are now seeking the cooperation of the judiciary to continue with the trial of arrested terrorists.”

Lai Mohammed was recently in the news after he spoke about the breaking of Nigeria. The Federal M inister of Information and Culture shared his thoughts about the breaking of Nigeria as many people are rooting for it.
According to him, it will require more effort is to break Nigeria than to fix it and he made this known in a recent submission he made on Channels TV.
In his submission, he said;
“The agitation for political restructuring is okay. However, what is not okay is the call for secession or for separation. We would need more energy to break Nigeria than to fix it. As a matter of fact, the strength of Nigeria is its diversity. So everybody agreed that secession is not an option.”

Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) Mr. Osita Okechuwku has canvassed massive support by teeming youths in for Buhari Agrarian Revolution – #BUGREV to ensure food and job security in the country.
He threw the challenge in Abuja while addressing members of APC Press Corps at the National Secretariat of the party.
Okechuwku said if the project had been fully embraced since 2015 it was flagged off, it would have grossly addressed the increasing wave of unemployment among the teeming youths.
He noted his call for massive support for the agrarian revolution would be a panacea to palpable discontent, despair, gross unemployment and gross inequality in the country.
The APC chieftain said: “We are among the top ten most populous countries of the world and we have the single honour of median age advantage of youths making over 60%. China, India and even USA do not have that median youth advantage, only Brazil and Indonesia approximate our ranking. However, this advantage also has disadvantages, this is what #BUGREV is set to correct.”
The VON boss added: “With #BUGREV our quest to lift 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years, the urgent need to halt all manner of insecurity bedevilling us and the imperative to reduce the stark economic inequality rests squarely on back to land.”
He noted every square meter of land from north to south, east to west is fertile and provides luxuriant life to any specie of flora and fauna found on earth.
Okechuwku said without prejudice to the oil and gas reserve, “#BUGREV is the main beacon to actualisation of our giant status in Africa” adding that the revival of the agric sector would also help subsistence farmers migrate to commercial farmers.
According to him: “With massive mobilisation, #BUGREV will balance our external trade deficit, assist in no small measure in offsetting our foreign loans and enhance our economic diplomacy.”
He then appealed to the media help government promote the lofty gains in the agric revolution project.
“Permit me to use this forum to appeal to all Nigerians to buy into the Buhari Agrarian Revolution – #BUGREV, as a road map to Nigeria’s Resorgimento.
“Our people, especially the teeming youths and women, are yet to embrace this milestone as expected; hence one sincerely appeal to the fourth estate of the realm to join the enlightenment crusade and spread the good news.
#BUGREV (Buhari’s Agrarian Revolution), which was launched on 17th November 2015, in the early stages of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, is a policy dear to Mr President’s heart and indeed his initiative touches on our common heritage and our uncommon Almighty God’s endowment,” Okechuwku concluded. .
Information and Culture Minister Lai Mohammed has assured Nigerians that the Federal Government will continue to engage the youth and address issues of job creation and poverty reduction.
Mohammed stated this on Monday while addressing reporters at Federal Government’s consultative meeting with political and traditional leaders in the Southwest at the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.
The meeting, which was at the instance of President Muhammadu Buhari, was meant to reconcile and rebuild the Southwest after last month’s looting and destruction of public and private properties during the #EndSARS protests, especially in Lagos.
Mohammed said apart from some other new initiatives to address job creation and poverty reduction after the protest, the government had always been addressing unemployment among youths.
“The newly launched youths programme is actually aimed at creating jobs for the youth. For instance, there is the N75 billion fund, which is in three tiers and designed to give youths the opportunity for job creation and to empower them.
“Also, there is the N75 billion MSME Survival Fund, which is broken into two: there is the Payroll Support, which is to assist MSMEs employing between three and 50 employees to help them to pay salaries, especially with the impact of COVID-19,” he said.
The minister said the new programme is for 500,000 MSMEs involved in food production, hospitality industry, health, among others.
“The second leg is the one we call one-off grant for mechanics, electricians, hair dressers, etc. It is N30,000, which government is making available to 333,000 individuals involved in this.
“It also involves what we call the informal grant, which is the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registering free of charge 50,000 companies, MSMEs; and 100,000 beneficiaries of the N50,000 one-off grant,” Mohammed said.
The minister said before the new initiatives, the government had been involved in other programmes and initiatives that would be beneficial to the youths.
