Seven Nigerian artistes, including Burna Boy, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage have made the UK’s MOBO Awards 2020 nomination list.
The UK’s MOBO Awards are back after a 2-year break with Nigerians leading nominations in the Best International and African Act categories.
Representing Nigeria, Burna Boy and Rema were nominated in the Best International Act category, and would face tough competition from Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, the late Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, Popcaan, Shenseea, H.E.R and Roddy Ricch.
Burna and Rema were nominated again in the Best African Act category alongside Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

The 2020 Music of Black Origin honours black music from all corners of the world. It will be hosted by Maya Jama and Chunkz and will be be shown on December, 9 2020, on BBC One and YouTube.
