Mercy Aigbe, Mide Martins, Khafi, others shocked as Iyabo Ojo’s mum dies in her sleep



Actors Mercy Aigbe, Mide Martins, Bukola Adeeyo and the entire Yoruba movie industry has been thrown a state of shock and mourning following the sudden passing away of actor, Iyabo Ojo’s mum, Mrs Victoria olubunmi Fetuga.

Mrs Victoria olubunmi Fetuga was aged 67 and a three generation photo shoot was organized by Iyabo Ojo in her honour, three months ago to celebrate.

Sharing photos from shoot which literally broke the Internet in August, Iyabo Ojo wrote: “Words can’t describe the Joy i feel inside of me, seeing that you’re hale & hearty to enjoy the fruit of your labour, God I thank you for her life & for your undiluted grace upon her life …Mama Babalola, Mama Bayo, Mama Iyabo, May you live long to witness more blessings… Love you forever…”

Only for Iyabo Ojo to break the sad news of her death a while ago on Instagram saying “My mother,my jewel,my guardian,my pearl…this is how you said goodbye?…we were joking about this days ago..I told you how much I want you to live long and watch the children become grown men and women but you said no..your joy was that I am happy..that your spirit would protect and be with us.

Little did I know you were set to leave..with total submission to the will of God, I announce the death of my mother Mrs Victoria olubunmi Fetuga who passed away in her sleep the early hours of today Saturday 21st november at the age of 67yrs..mama,you might be gone but we your children and grandkids would make sure your memories remain and linger you promised,your spirit remains with us…iyabo ojo your love.”

Many of Iyabo Ojo’s colleagues, fans and Nigerians have since bombarded her Instagram page with condolence messages. Mercy Aigbe and Mide Martins were shocked beyond words and muttered “OMG”

Actress Regina Chukwu wrote”Haaaaa 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 jesu! It’s well darling me .. may her soul Rest In Peace”

Actress Tana Adelana wrote “Oh Lord! No no! God please! 😢 May God grant you the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.”

Celebrity stylist, CEO Luminee wrote “For what??? Ki lo sele gan naaaa??? Omg!!! Haaaaaaa! 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔”

Actress Biola Bayo wrote “This really shocked me😭😭😭😭😭 May her soul Rest In Peace. So sorry sis.”

Actor Yomi Fabiyi wrote “Accept my condolences. May she RIP. Sad! Sad! Mothers are small Gods. After I lost my mum, I don’t wish anyone to loose theirs. Happy to have met such a wonderful woman. She is full of prayers and gratitude towards we your colleagues. We Love you mama. Goodbye! Adeui! Pele Iyabo.”

BBNaija reality star, Khafi wrote “I am so so sorry 😞 I remember when you did a photo shoot with her recently and how Beautiful she looked. You could just see the love she had for you oozing from the photos. I pray God comforts you and your family in this time 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Veteran actress, Shaffy Bello wrote “May she Rest In Peace dear. Pele love. Sending you Love and Light”

“Davido is a bigot” – Northern youths blast Davido for ignoring them



Social media users have descended unto the 30 Billion Geng boss and songwriter Davido over he made a tweet that was allegedly to mock the people of the North.

Davido has been lambasted by the people of the North and is about to lose more fans in the North for allegedly ignoring them because of the going massacre in the North.

About 40 people were killed a few days ago by the Boko Haram insurgence.

Davido was approached by a youth from the North to use his platform to draw the attention of the killings of the Northerners just as he used his platforms to promote the EndSARS Campaign. Replying to the youth, Davido said, “he doesn’t know who they were”. This has caused a lot of the Northerners to blast him.
