Ooni Of Ife may not see his newly born baby till February 2021, See why

Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Oni of Ife and his wife are currently rejoicing after conceiving a lovely baby boy.

Recall that the crown prince was born in Akure, Ondo State. Reports have it that the queen mother has been living in Akure for some months now and family members have visited the place to see the newly born prince.

According to tradition, Obas in Yoruba land are barred to see newborn babies because of some myths concerning their hair. So this explains why Oba may not be able to visit his baby until after three months.

They are rather not forbidden to see their babies’ mother or other new mothers.
