Royal family releases new photo of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip to mark their 73rd wedding anniversary

Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip are celebrating their 73rd wedding anniversary today, November 20.

To mark their anniversary, Buckingham Palace released a photograph of a smiling monarch and her husband looking at a card made by her great-grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, alongside other cards and letters from well-wishers.

The picture was taken at Windsor Castle, the queen’s home west of London where the couple are staying during the lockdown.

Queen Elizabeth, 94, and Prince Philip, 99, married in London’s Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947, just two years after the end of World War II.

Tumi had taken to Twitter to announce that her relative’s man is all hers after she passed away. According to her, when her relative whose name wasn’t disclosed was alive, they weren’t in good terms because she (Tumi) slept with her man.

However, she is currently not among the living and she will get her man all to herself.

A Nigerian man, One Osasere Erhahon who hails from Edo State took to his Facebook page earlier today, Friday Dec 4th to share his bountiful yam harvest.



According to Osarere, he planted the seed yam or cut setts at his backyard due to boredom during the COVID-19 lockdown.

He wrote alongside photos,

“I harvested these yams at my backyard last week in Benin. I decided to plant them during lockdown due to boredom but it turned out to be a boutiful harvest. No fertilizer, no additives; I just dug and planted. God is great! Nigerian land is blessed”

Nigerians Reacts As A 43 Year-old Man Emerges NANS President

Nigerians have reacted with contempt as a 43-year-old man emerged the new president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

The man identified as Mr. Sunday Dare Asefon is reportedly a postgraduate diploma (PGD) student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), in Ado-Ekiti.

It is alleged that he is the chosen candidate of the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, who reportedly sponsored his campaign with N40 million.

The president-elect polled 155 voted in the electoral contest ahead of Momodu, 11 votes; Champion, 2 votes; Alopay, 7 votes and Ladoja, 100 votes.

His victory has been trailed with mixed reactions on social media, with the vast majority questioning why a 43-year-old should be the NANS president.
