So talented: Watch Video of Gunners starlet Kido Taylor-Hart, who scored four goals & made four assist in eight games
Arsenal’s latest crop of youngsters are turning heads at Hale End but there is one name that keeps cropping up amongst the Gunners coaching staff, who is Kido Taylor-Hart.
The exciting winger, who has been capped for England at Under-17 level, only turned 18 in October and showcased his goalscoring qualities with four goals and four assist across all competitions for Arsenal Under-18s.
Having been at Arsenal from the age of 7 and a boyhood supporter of the club, Kido Taylor-Hart has represented the Gunners at all ages up to Under-23s and was unfortunate to have suffered an injury which restricted him to just 10 appearances for the U18s last season.
It’s that injury which derailed the fast progress he had made for the Gunners U18s, but he’s now ready to make up for lost time.
Kido Taylor-Hart is considered one of the top three fastest players in the Arsenal academy set-up and attracted plaudits for his confidence and technical ability during a video clip posted on the club’s YouTube channel which saw some fans liken his playing style to German winger Leroy Sane.
First team players Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson, and Eddie Nketiah are all examples of Hale End graduates that Kido Taylor-Hart can look up to, and the north London-born starlet admitted last year that he takes particular inspiration from Reiss Nelson because of their positional similarities.
‘I look up to Reiss Nelson because he plays in my position, and seeing what he has done is inspiring to me and all of us here,’ Kido said.
‘Reiss’ name gets brought up a lot among the young players, especially after the start to the season he’s had, playing the first two games and doing well. We look up to the likes of him, Joe and Emile too.’
