Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Friday, disclosed some of the great and philanthropic works the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua did in the state before his passing.
Recall that TB Joshua died a few weeks ago after he conducted a church service. His remains have finally been laid to rest today, a month and four days after his demise, at SCOAN, with a week long activities scheduled and planned by his family.
One of the many highly revered guests present at TB Joshua final burial today is Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State, and he pointed out one of the incredible things the true son of the soil did before his demise.
Speaking during the internment at the burial, Akeredolu disclosed that the late cleric aided in restoring electricity to some parts of Ondo State.
According to him, TB Joshua paid electricity bills and bought transformers for four local governments in the state to ensure power supply. “When the Northern senatorial district of our state was in darkness, he came to our aide. He paid the electricity bills of four local governments and bought transformers for them because the government could not afford it”, Governor Akeredolu said.
