‘They hate Nigeria’ – Adamu Garba reacts to Twitter’s selection of Ghana as its African headquarters

Nigerians are yet to recover from the shock of Twitter’s snub in favour of their ‘small relative’ Ghana after the microblogging company announced that it’s touching base in Ghana to establish its African Headquarters.
Recall that Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey made the announcement in a tweet on Monday afternoon, April 12.
🇬🇭 Twitter is now present on the continent.
Thank you Ghana and @NAkufoAddo. #TwitterGhana https://t.co/tt7KR3kvDg

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo proudly accepted the new development with this warm reply;
As Nigerians from all walks of life discuss the issue and trying to figure out why Twitter ‘grossly disrespected’ them at the expense of Ghana, the former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Adamu Garba has tossed his own perspective into the fray with this ridiculous statement;
”Nigeria is safer with the Hypocrisy of Twitter. We shall have to improve on our methods for elimination of Fake News on the information space.
They just hate Nigeria because they know that the only country that can be the next African Superpower, fully democratic, highly mobile population & good working-age population is Nigeria
Twitter came to Ghana to target Nigerian market. They won’t admit they need us, but we know.”
I pray Ghana would not allow their country to be used as a platform for the orchestration of nuisance on the African internet space.
