Toke Makinwa has premiered a new episode of “Toke Moments” where she shares her views on the difference between submission and control. According to her,
There is a ugly myth that when a woman is successful, scratch that, when a woman has a level of confidence and belief in herself, she must be proud or difficult to tolerate, you see it in the work place, in relationships, even in marriages. People have gone on to pass this narrative for so long, I decided to talk about it on the Vlog today, why is there so much fuss about ‘”submission”? I have found out in most cases those people who fight for control over another human being are suffering from their own ego. when there is a partnership that is well respected by both parties, they equally arrive at decisions and the word submission is no longer thrown around so ofter and even while you want a woman to submit to you, must she always agree with everything you say? If she doesn’t are you open to listening without thinking she is proud? Let’s discuss it. Pls like, comment, share and subscribe too.
The wife and son of a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar’s police guard has been kidnapped.
Police in Adamawa State have confirmed the kidnap of the police man’s loved ones.
Kemi FIlani News reports that witnesses alleged that the kidnappers stormed the residence of Sergeant Hammandikko Nyako in Yolde Pate community on the outskirts of Yola on Monday night.
Sources indicated that when the kidnappers could not find the police sergeant whom they believed was in town, they whisked away his wife and son at gun point.
A Federal High Court in Abuja will on Thursday hear the bail application of Borno South Senator, Ali Ndume.
Ndume has been in prison custody since Monday for standing as surety for a former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, believed to have jumped bail.
Maina is facing charges of money laundering involving N2bn before he was granted bail.
On November 18, 2020, Justice Okon Abang, revoked the bail granted Maina, ordered his arrest, and directed his trial would proceed in absentia.
The judge also on Monday remanded Ndume in prison until he produced Maina or paid the sum of N500m bail bond to the Federation Account.

He said the bail application was brought to his attention at about 8.58 am on Wednesday, disclosing that he had immediately directed that the matter be fixed for hearing on Thursday.
He also said he had directed that hearing notice for Thursday’s proceedings be issued and served on the parties.
