Political activist Adamu Garba has reacted to Twitter’s action of deleting President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet from Tuesday night claiming that it violates its community rule.
The president had put out a series of tweets warning citizens against the destruction of INEC offices noting that he will handle them in the language they understand. The tweet was later taken down by the microblogging platform. Adamu has now reacted to Twitter’s move stating that the social media platform had no right to interfere in the political affairs of the country. He stated that Twitter needs to shut down from Nigerian space and get out of Nigeria as it has no right to interfere in the affairs of the country.

Twitter has no right to infuse into our local political affairs. It’s a company not a government.
By removing our democratically elected President’s speech to the people of Nigeria, Twitter need to shutdown from Nigerian internet space.
Twitter need to get out of Nigeria.
