Why I want Burnaboy to win the Grammy awards — Media Personality, Shade Ladipo

Media personality, Shade Ladipo says she wants Self-acclaimed African giant, Burna boy, to win the Grammy Awards so that the whole Nigeria can breathe.


This is coming months after Burna boy blocked her for saying he’s ‘selfish and just a product’.


Taking to her social media handle, the media personality, disclosed the Twice as Tall album was good and deserved to get the award. She also stated that the singer could look forward to achieving other things when that is done.

She wrote;

”I want Burna Boy to win the Grammys so we can rest .. Oya Oga you’re the best. Frustrate us we are your Nigerians. TBH Twice as Tall is a great album. It’s devoid of tricks. It’s exactly what it’s supposed to be almost a coming of age who Burna is. Pls recording Academy let Burna Boy win so we can breathe in Nigeria and he can have something else to look forward to.

Mayorkun recounts how he dumped his banking job to become a Superstar

Popular Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel also known as Mayorkun, has revealed how he dumped his banking job for music.

The Davido Music Worldwide signee disclosed this while advising his fans to always follow their passion and dreams.

According to him, he never liked his banking job but became happy ever since he started doing music.

Speaking in a short video video which he posted via his official Twitter page on Wednesday, November 25, the self acclaimed Mayor of Lagos said;

“My name is Mayorkun the Mayor of Lagos and I’m here to tell you to do you. In case you don’t know my story, I used to be a banker but I never liked the job so I went on to doing me. I did music and ever since then I’ve been happy”

Meanwhile, in another news, a Nigerian lady has taken to Instagram to plead with Nigerians to help her beg men to start marrying from Imo State as their ladies.

Tadenikawo Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II – That’s the name of Ooni of Ife & Olori Silekunola’s Prince

Ooni of Ife Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his wife Olori Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi have named their newborn prince!


The prince who was born 8 days ago was named Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II, after his father’s predecessor, the 49th Ooni of Ife in the 3rd dynasty of Ife, as promised.

Making the announcement on his official page, the Ooni of Ife had this to say,

In accordance with the traditional rites lasting for 21 days with today marking the 8th day, and in keeping to my promise of naming our first prince after my predecessor the 49th Ooni of Ife in the 3rd dynasty of Ife, our prince is hereby named “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II.”
Pray to God to guide and keep him in fulfillment of his destiny.

Maradona: Autopsy results revealed – Kemi Filani News

Argentina football legend, Diego Maradona, died of heart attack, according to reports in the local media.


Maradona is believed to have experienced cardiac arrest and medics were unfortunately unable to revive him.


San Isidro attorney general, John Broyad, said the 60-year-old’s death was “a result of natural causes” and stressed that no ‘foul play’ was noted.

The autopsy was carried out at the morgue of the San Fernando Hospital.

Maradona’s nephew, Johnny Esposito, was the last person to see him alive.

The former Barcelona and Napoli star complained to him that he was not feeling well and wanted to rest.

Doctors with an appointment to see Maradona went to his estate on Wednesday and found him unresponsive.

The football legend’s body arrived at the presidential palace in Argentina today, ahead of a three-day mourning period in the country.
